![]() Always catches errors that other software misses. EDIT 2: I came back to also point out that AOMEI's built-in disk checking tool is very reliable. Extremely low-end specs, but AOMEI still runs quickly. If you make a change to the Windows partition that it's installed in, it will reboot into a DOS mode and edit from there, then reboot on its own with the edits being done.ĮDIT: I'd also like to note that the computer I do most of the edits from is a piece of junk, sub-$200 desktop from like 2009. ![]() ![]() Just today, I deleted a partition, then merged that unallocated space onto the C: partition, and it only took like 3 minutes.Īnother thing I really like is that it can be used from within the hard drive you're editing. Moving and editing partitions takes less than 5 minutes to 15 minutes, depending on how much data you're moving. Cloning a drive takes a couple hours (but usually those drives are failing, so they're slow anyway). It's cleaner, faster, and the Partition Recovery option performs a lot better.Īs for actual speed, I can format a partition in like, 20 seconds. I work IT (specifically repairing computers) so I use partition managers 24/7, and AOMEI's out-performs EaseUS's by miles. It isn't free, but AOMEI Partition Assistant is the BEST partition manager software I've ever used.
